There’s no doubt in my mind that what India needs is a dozen Dr Subramanian Swamys. One Dr Swamy is definitely not enough. Why? Because the garbage which needs taking out cannot be done by one person, however brilliant, hardworking and committed. But for now, let us thank our lucky stars that India has Dr Swamy at least. He has the nature of a warrior, a karma yogi. But he is also a gyan yogi. With that said for the record, I would like to share with you a few videos of his you must watch.
Dr Swamy is indefatigable. Check out the letter the wrote to the appointed prime minister, Dr Manmohan Singh, on Nov 24th. I quote it in full, for the record.
November 24, 2010.
Dr. Manmohan Singh,
Prime Minister of India,
South Block,
New Delhi.Dear Prime Minister:
You may by now have realized that the 2G Spectrum scandal is not only bad for the country in the dimension of corruption, but now it emerges that there is a national security dimension too. The RAW, IB, CBI, ED all have enough material which they may have placed before you regarding the dubious aspects of the principal player in this scam.
According to my information two sisters, Anushka and Nadia, of Ms Sonia Gandhi had received sixty percent of the kickbacks in this deal i.e. Rs.18,000 crores each. The frequent travel of Sonia Gandhi and her immediate family to Malaysia, Hongkong, Dubai and parts of Europe including London requires to be probed under the law. What requires your special attention is the mode of the travel, not by commercial airliners, but by jets provided by the corporate sector which itself is illegal under the DGCA Rules. I find that often Ms.Sonia Gandhi and family have traveled to Dubai and then traveled onwards on private jets provided by dubious Arab business interests to Europe. It is not clear on what passport they have traveled. In Dubai they were felicitated by agencies of countries which are hostile to India including that of Pakistan.
You can no more not take a stand when evil is permeating in the country in the form of terrorism, religious conversion and demographic infiltration. The ill-gotten money in billions of dollars equivalent, the money laundering and Participatory Notes have all undermined our national integrity. The time is come for you to take a stand.
I am familiar with the information and data with our intelligent agencies. I also know that you can seek cooperation of other countries especially the United States in pooling information especially from inter Intelligence interaction that take place regularly. I hope therefore you will rise to the need of the hour and take effective steps to set right the sorry state of affairs in the country caused by overtly and covertly resident foreigners. In this connection I would like to meet you at the earliest. My Secretary will be in touch with your Secretariat to fix a time.
Yours sincerely,
(SUBRAMANIAN SWAMY)
So are you Dr. Atanu Dey.
PS: No hyperbole but I think you (and the other “Internet Hindu” bloggers/tweeters) are doing a great service by highlighting “news” unlike the mainstream media.

What I found amazing about S.Swamy (other than his brilliant efforts ofcourse) is that he is a diehard optimist. Recently in an interview he was asked if he despairs for India. He said that we should always be optimistic and that progress was being made, slowly but surely. He has shown the way to fight the system using processes available today.

I have accused you, Atanu, of targeting the Gandhis in the past. But Swamy’s speech provides certain evidence that you are in the right direction. Even though, I don’t believe it in its entirety, like sections about murders etc.
One doubt that I am feeling is, why did union governments under BJP etc didn’t do anything about it. It was both good for them politically. Like to Congress use the CBI.

Relating deaths part is a bit too far fetched. but in general, the family connections and the other issues are worth looking into and should be made transparent.
Unfortunately, public in general is so vulnerable/weak spirited which can be blamed. its not the fault of the virus but the body which should be immune. If not sonia, Lallu or Mayavati or other umpteen viruses abound
Does anyone have constructive ideas which need to be worked upon and implemented at grass-root level? time to get into act than keep blaming.
That way, i think Mr Swamy is good

Ratan Tata – 2G GSM, 2G CDMA, VSNL, 3G, UNITECH backdoor.
Ambanis – WLL, 2G CDMA, 2G GSM, 3G, Swan Backdoor and 4G via BWA license by Mukesh.
On March2010 Tata & Ambanis served 170m of 621m subscribers or just 27%.

Dr. S. S. has balls, and I admire him coming out publicly with several questions surrounding Antonia Maino. But I have two main issues with him, regarding his kitchen-sink approach to accuse the Maino clan.
1. He presents what seems like good evidence (if independently verified) and then casually weaves in assumptions without proof or backing saying “How else is it possible? …. Obviously, …” He does that multiple times in the videos you have linked to. A person of lesser IQ can be condoned for making such inferences in presenting a case, but not Dr. SS. In my opinion, he destroys his own credibility when he makes such statements.
2. He seems to embrace (or create) outrageous conspiracy theories. See the Janata Party website: http://www.janataparty.org/soniaisthemodern.html where he says: “Is it not a fact that Indira Gandhi died because of loss of blood from the wounds and not directly due to a bullet impacting her head or heart ? Then is it not strange that Sonia had insisted that the bleeding Indira be driven to Lohia Hospital– in the opposite direction to AIIMS which had a contingency protocol set up for precisely such an event ? And after reaching Lohia Hospital, did not Sonia change her mind and demand that they all drive to AIIMS thus losing 24 valuable minutes ?”
And again: “The same kind of mystery surrounds the sudden deaths of Sonia’s other political roadblocks such as Rajesh Pilot, Jitendra Prasad, and Madhavrao Scindia. Such untimely deaths happened in the dark ages in Italy. Should we allow it to happen in India like dumb cattle going to slaughter?”
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Sadly, by adding such far fetched speculations to otherwise extremely valid points of deception or criminality, Dr. S. S. undermines his own credibility.

Please dont undermine someone efforts to raise legitimate questions. Everybody who cared to know something about sonia by now knows that sonia faked her education and congi sycophants introduced sonia as a graduate of cambridge university. It is also true that Ottavio was a family man who paid kickbacks to rajiv and co through sonia and co..and many many more make believe personal information that is rubbish.

Upon seeing Swami’s video, I am surprised. In the US for example, people demand to know everytthing about a canditate such as the President for example: education, religious affiliation, work experience, family background so that people will know who they are voting for. So much information is demanded and the canditate is screened to such an extent regarding background that people hesitate go to into politics for this reason. If such things are kept in secret in India, and not general knwoledge, how can India claim to be a democracy, and boast they have more freedoms than China? Are people not being deluded. Indian voters should just demand to know these things, because in a legitimate democracy, these things are common knowledge and not mysterious, and if a person is legitimate they would have no problems answering all such queries. I think Indians are way too passive and accepting. I mean they do not question much. What happens to temple money for example? As long as citizens are not engaged and do not demand accountability then.
The BJP got rid of 1500 archaic laws when it was in power for a short time. What has Congress been doing? There are ways to make the bureaucracy efficient. For example, Nitish Kumar is proposing a rule that bureaucrats finish a given work in a certain amount of time–so that they do not get paid for doing nothing and often not showing up to work. Why is literally nothing being done under Congress? It seems that without the Gandhi family which Congress uses to hold unto power, as they offter the nation nothing, they cannot win elections. This party should have been done away at the time of independence.

Larissa, Thats the misfortune that our forefathers have lived with and will continue to live with forever unless these is a massive civil unrest and internal turmoil..communal or otherwise that cascades down in many flavours with multiple platforms to raise issues of all nature and book every single leader who kept us in dark. I see almost nil chances of such an opposition in unison because people who vote in this country are the most ill-informed bunch of retards (using atanus’s phrase)who have no opinion and no conviction and no national sense of belonging and identity. Unless this nation has 90% or more literacy of which 70% college educated, things would remain the same. For that to happen we need a radical political party like NDA in power for 4 decades or more. Congress must go. Everything will be tolerated as long as they are in power.

Well I doubt the “NDA” can be called radical, but they did begin to initiate important reforms such as the building roads and infrastructure and so on. They had a plan to link all the rivers for irrigation for example. They could not hold on to power on account of their own stupidity. All their projects came to a screecing halt when Congress came to power. Chongress simply has no overall vision or direction as far as national strategy and direction is concerned. It seems India is limping along with no plan or vision about its future–which is a very dangerious way to go about things. Nepal is Communist, the Tamils lost in Sri Lanka, the Indians influence in Afghanistan has been reduced, in short, Indian influence has really been shrinking, as it has begun to lose power in the region…The border situation is a mess…And most Indians do not seem to be affected by the status quo, and are more interested in watching the stock market and believing India is growing with the false statistics when it is really not…It is just a small middle class and the very rich are growing…

Well the political right seems to be coming back with a force everywhere if you look at European politics, for example.
India seems to be headed the way of organized deviancy at this rate…
However, the biggest problem I find in India is the lack of fellow feeling and sense of fellow suffering. This is important for a nation; family often takes precedence in India. You need strong cohesiveness, a sense of nation for people to make an impact. India is still basically a work in progress, but is clearly heading in the wrong direction since independence. If you look at Indian history, the common man in India has basically been invisible for the last 800 years: under the Muslims, under the British and now under the Congress after independence…

India was wretched at the time of independence after a long period of foreign rule (800 years), however it was 1/4 the size of today, and manageable. The question that has to be asked is why did India become the size of today, and what were the reasons for the failures in public policy? The Indian public is largely a passive population; a strong leadership could have lead it in a right direction. People have to be willing to fight and sacrifice for a nation, they need to be aware of having fought for the freedoms they enjoy, and they have to believe ultimately a nation is worth fighting for. I remember an expat who once told me he almost joined the army. But then he took one look around him and said “These are the people I am to fight for?” and left the country. Now this was his choice; I am saying that a populace as to have strong sense of nation for a peoples to move forward. The Chinese, despite being communist, have this strong sense. However, even if citizens who are capable of sacrifice for a larger ideal are about 100 million strong say, they can be a formidable force if they are able to be mobilized. So there is hope for India.
Regarding cracking on the bureaucracy here is what I am talking about. Now since Nitish has won the elections with a clear majority, he can do such things. The challenge is not only for the NDA to come to power, but hold on to power as well through proper alliances.

Resisting the temptation of hyper analysis, it would suffice to say that MMS is a chakka, a spineless man resigned to service of those who appointed him. MMS is a man so meek that if you spit at his face for no offence of his, he will simply wipe it off and walk away without even an eye contact. He is a by-product of the same systems that our fathers and forefathers were victims of. What rather amazes me is antonia maino’s outburst explaining all and sundry that “Everyone knows that the PM is not corruptible” as if this is like admitting that everyone else is corrupt and that is indeed no big deal as her voters never seemed to mind it.

With all due regards to your concerns, I think you are asking too many questions too late while answers are readily available. People like Atanu have been articulating the same problems and solutions time and again and I believe at tremendous cost to personal health-heart burns and significant time and intellect invested to gather thoughts from all sources for reassurance with the singular objective of motivating people like us. Every country in the past 300-400 years went through bad times. Many understood how to govern themselves and embranced liberal economic policies and education early on. We lived on primitive and archaic make believe philosophies that was not wrong to begin with but we over did it for too long and reached a stage from where we cannot aspire to come out. We closed oursleves to the world for too long. We have failed on all dimensions. We are in fact as failed as Pakistan or Afghanistan. This happened in the life times of our leaders who were well read and well travelled. My personal opinion is very different. India cannot and should not have been a single union. It needs to be divided into individual cantons on the lines similar to he ones before independence with separate judiciary and executives and laws that best suit the homogenous masses. India is just too diverse to be governed by a party or 2.

Which country has had a civilization like India which was destroyed and which country lived under slavery for 800 years? I mean countries that had civilization which was on par with Greece and Rome? This is a broad generalization, although I do not want to give you heartburn. The fact is, very few in India want to do something or give back, the family takes precedence for most people. And those who are dedicated to higher causes and capable of sacrifice do not have political power. And being in slavery for 800 years has a lot to do with this mentality, lack of civic sense and fellow feeling and sense of nationhood. I think the only hope for India is if a powerful group of well intentioned people (capable of sacrifice for higher ideals) come to power, they would need to literally govern with a whip and get rid of a lot of deadwood which has arisen in the last sixty years…No I do not think India is too diverse to be governed by a group of people, the issue has to do with a party that respects the native culture and does want to destroy it and which commands authority and obedience…Unfortunately, Hindus do have a sense of cohesiveness. There is no hierarchy that is able to elicit obedience, because it is lacking in spiritual authority (I am not talking of heirarchy in a feudal sense). It is not easy for people who have been in slavery for 800 years to understand freedom and the responsibility it entails. Anyone who has at any point tired to do something positive there will understand what I mean.

So much of corruption happens around Manmohan Singh. Any sane man would oppose if he is mr. clean or such. But MMS is silent and supports all these by his silence.
Hence my conclusion is either MMS is highly corrupt himself or is shielding some one very powerful. History is full of examples that such people are always silenced when they are no more wanted.
Does MMS know or ever have an idea of such an eventuality. At least for that same he should record all the happenings such as why he acted as such and such, why is he acting as front men of some one, so that would be valuable in case anything happens to him.
The first casuality in 2G is Raja’s aide. I fear there would be lot of such things happening and even MMS would be a target one day, because the money involved is too high for any one to be exposed.
God help MMS as no one will sympethise in case any such thing happens.

Most of the communities in the entire Indian sub-continent(such as Bengali) succumbed in ‘Culture of Poverty'(Oscar Lewis), irrespective of class or economic strata, lives in pavement or apartment. Nobody is at all feel regret ed or ashamed of the deep-rooted corruption, decaying general quality of life, worst Politico-administrative system, weak mother language, continuous absorption of common social space (mental as well as physical, both). We are becoming fathers & mothers only by self-procreation, mindlessly & blindfold(supported by some lame excuses). Simply depriving their(the children) fundamental rights of a decent, caring society, fearless & dignified living. Do not ever look for any other positive alternative behaviour(values) to perform human way of parenthood, i.e. deliberately co-parenting children those are born out of ignorance, extreme poverty, need to strike hard at fundamental point. It seems that all of us are being driven only by the very animal instinct. I am not against Christians and I really love them for many reasons, but I hate them only because of converting religion of people, just in the name of social empowerment. In South India, the missionaries are working in each villages like vultre looking for weak animals and birds. They enter in to the family, who are struggling people for money, social support, illness and the parents looking for education for beloved ones. The one who convert their religion is one who is helpless, socially boycotted and financially struggling, who have no moral supports. This is going to be a big social problem of our country.
