Hans Rosling’s 200 Countries, 200 Years, 4 Minutes

Hans Rosling is a favorite academic/activist of mine. He is delightful to watch because of his infectious enthusiasm for his subject — that the world is getting better. Here’s a brief video that presents the evidence for that proposition. (Thanks JP for the link.) Enjoy.

  1. Thanks Atanu. I saw all his videos on TED.COM and he happens to speak on almost all TED events. I wish someone like him in our country is disturbed by the numbers. I am almost certain that statistics of India are a bunch of lies and has always been presented after necessary editing by the barons of congress. I think we must cautions Hans Rosling when it comes to beliving numbers fromm India. I see the situation only worsening.
