The Brain of the Minister of State for Haj

In my last post, we met the Uttar Pradesh Minister of State for Haj, Mr Muhammad Yaqoob Qureshi, who has announced a $11.5 million reward for the murder of Danish cartoonists and has asked the Indian government to server dipolomatic ties with the US. Here is how his brain works.

  1. haha 🙂 good animation.
But why is nobody from the law enforcement even taking note? Hasn’t he broken any laws? Where are the Danish embassy officials when we need them? Someone should be all over him by now. It’s clear to me this dork is just playing his political cards to rise up the ladder. Someone out there shoud be suing his ass off!

Atanu’s response: Law enforcement in India depends on which political interest has an interest in enforcing which law. India is a “democracy” don’t you know. Which means it is not the rule of law but the rule of votes.

So this murderous idiot is an officer of the government and he will not get the “Go to Jail” card becauseby instigating murder he pleases a particular vote bank. Compare that to the “Go to Jail” card that Rushdie was handed because his book pissed off the same particular vote bank.

Funny thing is that the moron minister’s call for murder does far more damage to the cause of the Indian Muslims than any number of cartoons would ever do. I think it is the leadership of the Muslims that is to blame for the dismal state of affairs among the Muslims. But then, I have been saying the same thing about India in general: that it is the poor leadership in India which is the cause of India’s poverty. And finally, leadership is endogenous.

    It is all karma, neh?
