Of a million, one is inevitably an @sshole. Why are you doing your bit to aggravate it into a big thing?

What the christian missionaries are doing is absolutely wicked! It is a serious problem that has to be dealt with firmly. There is also a story about it in Outlook.
And to the reader who says that there is always an @sshole in a million, we must remember that oftentimes it is this one guy who brings ruin to other…Hitler is one of the many examples!

Unfortunately, this one in a million is being ideologically supported by the US government. DP is right: if this isn’t brought out into the sun, it will fester and grow, as other fundamentalist evangelicals see that it can be done.

The change direction of the conversation is long overdue.
Firstly, this is one in a million only for people who want to live in denial. This is rampant elsewhere irrespective of the disaster.
Second and most important, it is high time it is aggravated.
And most importantly, it is time RSS wakes up and does what it was orginally supposed to do. Bring self help to villages.
These missionaries are attractive because they know how to make themselves attractive- 2 meals a week, clothes for the poor, community help, financial help…. “well.. you know.. you can get all this.. only if you dont use the tilak, dont decorate the floor in front of the house with rice flour and colors to start off”- not a bad deal for a person who feels lucky if he/she gets a meal a day for his family…(All the above is based on my personal experience)

I would like to make it clear that there are lot of missionaries that are doing great work and their contribution is greatly appreciated.
But, that does not mean the ways and means of many other missionaries can be condoned.

Guys, what’s going on? I though in this blog we would discuss about RISC and how we can change rural india. I dont see any thing like that. Lets stop all this talk, who is bad and who is good and start talking about the work we have to do.
