Today I am blogging at “Why Democracy?” and have just published a post on Democracy in India.
The idea behind the Why Democracy? project appears to me to be to ask what democracy actually means and if it works as advertised, and if not, what are the deficiencies in the real places where it exists, etc. Go check it out.

I have my quips with democracy in india, mostly I see too little of it.
I want to see a real president a real rajya sabha (with the same number of reps coming from each state)
I do want to see municipal body be able to collect and dispose of taxes rather than VATs and octroi crap

is highly repugnant and isnt even worth ridiculing.
I am a long time reader of your blog and do agree with you on most issues concerning liberty, individual freedom and find your doubts regarding voting rights annoying to say the least.
