The Asinine Fatuity of Kapil Sibal

Kapil Sibal is an idiot. You may say that the title of this post is brimming with redundancy since asinine means ‘extremely foolish’ and fatuity means ‘foolishness’. But I like the phrase ‘asinine fatuity’ because it describes Kapil Sibal’s idiocy accurately and comprehensively. Hence the title. Now here’s the why.

Screen offensive content about PM, Sonia, Sibal tells Facebook,” Indian Express reports on Dec 6th.

Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal today asked Internet companies to screen alleged derogatory, defamatory and inflammatory content about religious figures and Indian leaders such as Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress president Sonia Gandhi on the Web.

Officials from Google, Microsoft, Facebook and Yahoo!, who met the minister, however, refused to make a commitment beyond saying they would look into any specific complaint that was brought to their notice.

Their response is learnt to have upset Sibal greatly — more so because, sources said, a US embassy official called up an additional secretary in his ministry after the meeting to express displeasure over the Indian position.

Kapil Sibal is an idiot because he does not understand that the internet cannot be policed. It’s an open forum and free people tend to express their opinions freely on it. If you don’t like what you see or read on the internet, there is a simple way out: don’t get on the internet.

Kapil Sibal is an idiot because he thinks that his way of looking at the world is the only right way. He is a barbarian who “thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature” (in the words of George Bernard Shaw.) Sibal does not like to see his idols painted in their true pathetic colors and insists that no one see it that way either.

Kapil Sibal is an evil retard. His reaction to the unpalatable truth is like the proverbial Dracula’s reaction to sunlight. He wants to banish the truth because it makes him out to be a sad little man scurrying about doing his master’s bidding.

Kapil Sibal is an ignorant runt. He does not understand that the people of India do have the necessary intelligence and judgment to figure out for themselves what they should read and watch, and what to believe and what to discard. By censoring information, he is treating Indians as they are gullible retards. If Indians do not kick his sorry ass out, they will be confirming his position.

In a more enlightened age, Kapil Sibal would be the laughing stock of the nation. Right now he is the minister in charge of Telecom. That is one of the starkest indications that India is in dire danger of being dragged to the stone ages.

Here’s something related to the matter at hand.

CAIRO: An Islamic cleric residing in Europe said that women should not be close to bananas or cucumbers, in order to avoid any “sexual thoughts.”

The unnamed sheikh, who was featured in an article on el-Senousa news, was quoted saying that if women wish to eat these food items, a third party, preferably a male related to them such as their a father or husband, should cut the items into small pieces and serve.

He said that these fruits and vegetables “resemble the male penis” and hence could arouse women or “make them think of sex.” Bikyamasr.com cannot independently verify the accuracy of the news item at time of writing.

He also added carrots and zucchini to the list of forbidden foods for women.

The sheikh was asked how to “control” women when they are out shopping for groceries and if holding these items at the market would be bad for them. The cleric answered saying this matter is between them and God.

Answering another question about what to do if women in the family like these foods, the sheikh advised the interviewer to take the food and cut it for them in a hidden place so they cannot see it.

The opinion has stirred a storm of irony and denouncement among Muslims online, with hundreds of comments mocking the cleric.

One reader said that these religious “leaders” give Islam “a bad name” and another commented said that he is a “retarded” person and he must quite his post immediately. [Source.]

Kapil Sibal should apply for the job of that mullah. He’s stupid, narrow-minded and allergic to reality. Sibal is fully qualified to get that job.

  1. congress is behaving like a dicrator. see news in yesterday’s ET that google is facing enquiries from IT Dept. If you are not with congress, you are against govt which will harass you through its machinery like. ET, CBI, ED, etc.

  2. The Congress’s pecking order runs on sycophancy.

Perhaps Mr Sibal wants the best “performance” rating in the party so he is licking the G butt very hard, and very publicly at that, to establish his “creds” with them.

What better way than to use the most popular media/brands (why werent rediff, the TOIlet paper or any of the hardly-known nntp forums called? #justasking) on the web to tom-tom his “concerns” – lots of brownie points!

The Congress flock and the TOIlet paper lick so much and so painfully obviously that it is embarrassing.

To say nothing of the laughing stock that he as Minister has become.

  3. What is really sad about this is the number of supporters Sibal has for implementing this draconian policy.
Our country has never really known what freedom is to fight against something like that us that so despicably undermines our freedom.
A society whose microcosms thrive on imposing restrictions on themselves and others due to reasons like religion and caste completely deserves a bunch of tyrants oppressing our freedom.

Do I need to be scared of Congress and Barkha? Cause in the prevailing conditions in India, I would invite NIA investigation for saying this in public, also I am sure that many of my friends will duck for cover the moment I announce this in a gathering..ha ha

My Best of Luck for Indegenous Indians if you can last another 50 years of Congress Dynasty without creating another Pakistan from within the present India..ha ha

G Sampath: Does Kapil Sibal sleep in the nude?

“So let me put it this way: Imagine Vidya Balan’s role in The Dirty Picture being played by Kapil Sibal, wearing those same costumes, and enacting those same sequences with Naseeruddin Shah and those other fellows. Well, it was sort of like that, but really dirty.

Usually I can never remember my dreams. When I wake up, I have a vague sense that I have had some powerful dreams, but the imagery always escapes me. I am guessing it is some form of censorship at work. But what bothers me now is that this oneiric censorship mechanism has stopped working ever since Kapil Sibal began invading my dreams”

  6. Can you please download the Internet and all of Web 2.0 and fax it to my attention please? My secretary will read them and then will decide what is correct and what is not and you can then edit the Internet. It must not take a lot of work, right?

  7. Recalling that immortal sentence from our Engg. Text Book, “Operating Systems” by Silberschatz & Galvin

Idle lawyers tend to become politicians, so there is a certain social value in keeping lawyers busy.

Most of India’s leaders (including Father of the Nation) were/are Lawyers. Doesn’t that say something about “More Talk, Less Work” of our Leaders !!!

Does any one know, any cases Sibal has won?
Jethmalani is the lawyer of all people corrupt (recently Manu Sharma in Jessica Lal case).

Arun Jaitley & Chidambaram are Tax Lawyers.
Indira Jaisingh is all things Human Rights.

Does any one recall Sibal’s cases ??
